L'aventure du pardon aujourd'hui
 La profonde mutation culturelle de la fin du vingtième siècle a fait voler en éclat les régulations morales dans lesquelles se vivait l'appartenance de chacun à sa communauté dans une histoire faite de transgressions et de réconciliations codifiées. Reste maintenant l'homme en butte à sa confrontation avec le mal et le risque du néant. Dans cette situation peut et doit se vivre une refondation culturelle et spirituelle, onéreuse certes, mais où le mystère de l'homme est comme à nu. Cette situation de vérité contraint l'homme à laisser Dieu se redécouvrir à lui au-delà de la question de sa culpabilité, de sa responsabilité dans le drame de la souffrance. Ce qui n'est possible que si on ne fait pas l'économie de cette question. C'est par la présence aux souffrances que se dévoilera à nouveau dans l'histoire des hommes la quête passionnée de l'homme par Dieu.
 The end of the twentieth century has gone through a tremendous transformation which has torn into pieces those moral rules that so far regulated the link between individuals and the communities they belonged to and which they received as a heritage of codified infringements and reconciliations. Humanity however still has to face up to the question of evil and the risk of worthlessness. In such circumstances we could and should proceed to a cultural and spiritual refundation, a demanding one of course, in which the mystery of man would come to light in its plain truth. This situation forces humanity to let God reveal Himself to her beyond the question of her own guilt and responsibility in the tragedy of suffering. This will be made possible only if the question of suffering itself is confronted with. It's through our presence by the side of suffering humanity that the mystery of God'search for man shall be disclosed to us again in today's history.
